Upgraded to work with iOS 7. CalcTriangle is and easy to use and understand right triangle calculator. All you need to do is type in any two sides or any angle and one side and then press the Calc button. Tap on the side or angle field you want to enter a dimension in and type in the number you want to enter. You can then select either the inch or foot symbol and the picker wheel for that field pops up, in foot mode you select inches and fractions of an inch. The angle fields are decimal. Once you have entered a value, select tap the Calc button and it will calculate the rest of the sides and angles along with the area and perimeter.

Pros and cons of CalcTriangle app for iPhone and iPad

CalcTriangle app good for

For home improvements this is going to make my life so much easier!!! Great job, very easy to use and able to calculate fractional measures. Highly recommend!
Great app! Easy to use and saves me a lot of time with carpentry calculations. Definitely recommend!

Some bad moments

Unusable, too many bugs. For example, if you enter angle A and side A the results are wrong. Also, if you want to edit the last field after a calculation, you have to select another field before and return to the last field unless you will not able to enter a new value, only add numbers to the old value. Lack of backspace button. ClearFld button unavailable after a calculation, you have to reset all values and re-enter all...
It worked for 5 minutes. Then all of the sudden it stopped!! No mater what I do it will clear all entries when I hit calculate. Also it refuses to stay on metric after you clear everything. For a buggy as the app is it should be free! I would rather use a pen and paper than to waste my time with this worthless app..
App doesnt work, when you put in values and click calculate, it crashes on iPad. On iPod touch, it doesnt crash, but also doesnt calculate.
